Twice Killed by a Paladin’s Sword
Raye’Kan Dev’Lin’s body slowly reforms on the Plane of Shadow, banished once again. A call from his Ilharess, his Matron Mother, a call that could not go unheeded lead to his demise.
Cut down in Qo’s though not without success, for as he fell, he saw the paladin fall as well, but the victory was shortly lived. The warlocks arcane blasts dropped him to the floor. The paladin had defeated Raye’Kan’s Ilharess, and survived running about like a ghostly coward, protected behind ethereal vapors. The Paladin had defeated Raye’Kan, who was never able to gain target upon him long enough to strip away his spell mantles quickly followed by yet anther ethereal jaunt. And the paladin had killed a youthful deurgar, who wanted nothing to do with the fight, and was caught in the middle of it before he could run.
But the paladin did not stay down, another of his ilk rushed through the door, and while Raye’Kan laid there, shadow life melting away, this new paladin lover, a female raised him; the paladin and his female made quick work of the warlock.
And now, the shade Raye’Kan sits once again banished into the Plane of Shadow, waiting to see how long it may be, before he his absence is noticed again, if at all.
“Usstan may naut be able to hurt this knight, but usstan can kill everything about him… farmers, commoners, children, the very land. He should naut have invaded the Underdark.”
The shadows twitch and fly in anger about him
“Why did that foolish jallil force a fight she could naut win! She too shall suffer for this insult!
The shade’s rage builds into a storm; a storm that has nowhere to go.
Banishment.
