"The scene in the common district is not a pretty one. Everywhere one looks, there are corpses burning. Shebali and Rothe can be seen piling the dead high, and burning them. Every now and then a noble drow is seen picking through the remains taking samples. Rumor has it that the Ulathtallar herself was attacked by drow driven mad with the blight with in the past few cylces and has issued orders to research the blight."

the blight can be traces back to a certain black dragon who tampered with it and perverted its power before it could only effect plans now its effects are random
